Nepal vs Oman, Another Low Ranked Winner, A Day for Low Ranked Winners in Asia Cup Qualifiers.

In another match played between Nepal and Oman in Asia Cup Qualifiers on 29th of August at Bayeumas Oval, Malaysia. The toss was won by Oman and they opted to bowl. Oman’s run chase for 221 was a steady one. All the players played very well on the ground except for one. Only one player failed to stand up to the mark in the game. Opener Aqib llyas was only able to score mere 16 runs. Khawar Ali played exceptionally well and scored 84 runs, while captain Zeeshan Maqsood scored 36 runs in 45 balls. The duo played a major role in taking the team above the line with few overs to spare still.

With this, the lower ranked Oman defeated the Nepal team by 7 wickets in the Asia Cup Qualifiers.
