Nepal vs Oman, Another Low Ranked Winner, A Day for Low Ranked Winners in Asia Cup Qualifiers.

In another match played between Nepal and Oman in Asia Cup Qualifiers on 29th of August at Bayeumas Oval, Malaysia. The toss was won by Oman and they opted to bowl. The Beginning of the match was not a very good start for Oman as they were not able to get wickets. Gyanendra Mall of Nepal gave his team a steady start. For the fifth wicket, Sagar Pun added 92 run stands to the total. From the beginning, it didn’t look like that Nepal will be able to set the bars too high and also the quick wickets, in the end, did not help. Oman’s run chase for 221 was a steady one. All the players played very well on the ground except for one. Only one player failed to stand up to the mark in the game. Opener Aqib llyas was only able to score mere 16 runs. Khawar Ali played exceptionally well and scored 84 runs, while captain Zeeshan Maqsood scored 36 runs in 45 balls. The Indian team was pretty happy and relaxed after their win in the third test match. But the mood was not as smooth for the opener Murli Vijay and Kuldeep Yadav. Both Murli Vijay and Kuldeep Yadav have been removed from the squad, as they were supposed to play an important role in the Tests but were not as exceptional as they were supposed to be.
