In another match played between Nepal and Oman in Asia Cup Qualifiers on 29th of August at Bayeumas Oval, Malaysia. The toss was won by Oman and they opted to bowl. The Beginning of the match was not a very good start for Oman as they were not able to get wickets. Gyanendra Mall of Nepal gave his team a steady start. For the fifth wicket, Sagar Pun added 92 run stands to the total. From the beginning, it didn’t look like that Nepal will be able to set the bars too high and also the quick wickets, in the end, did not help. Oman’s run chase for 221 was a steady one. All the players played very well on the ground except for one. Only one player failed to stand up to the mark in the game. Opener Aqib llyas was only able to score mere 16 runs. Khawar Ali played exceptionally well and scored 84 runs, while captain Zeeshan Maqsood scored 36 runs in 45 balls.
