VB Kanchi Veerans vs Karaikudi Kaalai Match Predictions and Overview

Karaikudi Kaalai somehow managed to bag a victory against Ruby Trichy Warriors in their previous match. The match was pretty close for comfort for them but somehow they managed to steal two crucial points from Ruby Trichy Warriors in the Super over. 

The Kanchi Veerans were not so lucky however and lost with a big margin of 8 wickets to Lyca Kovai Kings. Both the teams are going to battle for the win today at the NPR College Ground, Nathan, Dindigul.

 The match will begin at 7:15 PM IST. Both the teams will be working hard towards their victory and this is good news for fans as the tension will give rise to the thrill during the match and keep them entertained.

VB Kanchi Veerans Team Compositions:

VB Kanchi Veerans have not been performing well this season of TNPL and one can say that their performance is somewhat dreadful. They lost their first match of the season by whooping 8 wicket margin and 4 overs to spare while hurting their overall run-rate in the process.

The batting line up of the team was not able to perform very well as they lost their opening players in the first seven balls of the over. The partnership between Baba Aparajith and Suresh Lokeshwar were able to get the team back on track with 61-runs.

The Veerans were not able to give a good target to chase to the opposing team capping at 150 runs. The Kovai Kings chased the given target with ease.

Their bowling lineup was lacking discipline and was not able to get wickets in the bag. They surrendered 84 runs to the opposing team in the starting 6.4 overs. It wasn’t until Rangaraj Suthesh who took care of Shahrukh Khan and Pradsoh Ranjan Paul and mitigated the damage of starting overs but it was not enough for the amount of damage they took. In their second match with Karaikudi Kaalai, they will have to fight an uphill battle if they want to perform well this season.

Karaikuddi Kaalai Team Composition:

They were lucky to win their previous match with Ruby Trichy Warriors but their performance was a bit short on perfection and their bowling line up suffered a lot. Their batting performance was satisfactory enough in their previous match but their bowling is what needs improving for victory as they may not get lucky every time.

Including their bowling lie up their fielders were also lacking preparation which is clearly visible after looking at the performance of their skipper.

Batsmen like Srikanth Aniruddha and R Rajkumar played a major role in the victory of the team and contribution of Srikanth Aniruddha in the super over was praiseworthy.

Karaikudi Kaalai is a pretty well-balanced team overall, although there are some weaknesses, they should be easy to fix with minimal work. They were able to show their worth in the previous season as well and will become hard to deal with, especially having batsmen like Rajkumar, Maan Bafna, and Shajahn makes the team stronger. They just need to overcome their weakness.
