IPL 2021: Sanjay Bangar, Royal Challengers Bangalore new Batting Consultant

 A Tweet from Royal Challengers Bangalore Team on Wednesday announced that Sanjay Bangar has joined the team as Batting Consultant.

 

The Former Indian Team’s Batting Coach Sanjay Bangar has joined RCB as Batting consultant for IPL 2021. The news shared by the Bangalore Based Franchise on twitter expressing their excitement with the tweet as -

“ We are delighted to welcome Sanjay Bangar to the RCB Family as a batting consultant for #IPL2021!Welcome aboard, Coach!#PlayBold #WeAreChallengers #NowARoyalChallenger,”

on their official twitter account.

Bangar was previously batting coach for Indian Team from 2014 to 2019 before he was replaced by Vikram Rathore. He concluded his career at National’s Team with West Indies Tour following the conclusion of ODI World Cup. He has also worked with Kings XI Punjab as the head coach for three season before resigning from his position.

Sanjay will be joining Simon Katich, The Head Coach and Mike Hesson The Director of cricket operations for RCB as a part of coaching team.

RCB has released 10 Players prior to the auction which is expected to be held on 18th of Feb in Chennai. All-rounders like Harshal Patel and Daniel Sams have been traded in by RCB from Delhi Capitals.
